Purpose of the Endowment Fund for Norwalk City Schools
Enhance school curriculum by giving grants to teachers for worthy innovative classroom projects. Encourage an appreciation of the arts by supporting activities at the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center. Help Norwalk graduates with their post-secondary education goals by granting scholarships to help offset their expenses.
Fund Management
A Board of Trustees has been established to manage The Endowment Fund. The board includes alumni, community leaders, and representatives from the district. The Trustees work with the Superintendent and the Board of Education to fulfill the objectives of The Endowment Fund.
