The Endowment Fund for Norwalk City Schools is a community-based organization providing a stable source of funding for non-required educational programs, student scholarships, and the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center.

Contributions are accepted from individuals, corporations, private foundations, civic, and social groups.
The Fund has grown from awarding one $500 scholarship in 2000 to being able to present a record $74,000 in scholarships in 2023.
